Kunlun changes The Times, e-sports create the future

E-sports business division belongs to Hainan Kunlun Sport & Culture Co.Ltd. Its main business scope includes 3 sections: e-sports education, e-sports competition and e-sports venue. Under these sections, Kunlun e-sports operates in e-sports professional education, e-sports branding, e-sports club, e-sports team management, Internet cafe chain, e-sports execution, mobile live broadcasting platform, host presentation, content production etc. 

In 2017, Kunlun E-sports and Haikou University of Economics jointly applied for the first batch of "E-sports and management" major and got approved. We recruit students catering to various e-sports entities and e-sports related occupations in the field. The main purpose is to educate quality e-sports talents equipped with superior e-sports skills, professional conceptual knowledge and ability to practice. Job orientation including e-sports athlete, e-sports trainer, e-sports referee, professional manager, event planning and execution, strategy and data analysis, venue management, club management, esport hosting, e-sports commerce etc. Over 200 students were recruited in year 2018 and 2019 combined.

In 2018, Kunlun e-sports held the first ever Kunlun cup e-sports competition in Haikou University of Economics. The competition had 79 teams go head to head and over 400 players signed up.  During the competition, Kunlun cup influenced over 10000 people and had 2700 audience on the finale day. The success of Kunlun cup contributed to the e-sports development of Hainan, and also is widely supported by Hainan students. In year 2019, Kunlun e-sports once again held another Kunlun cup e-sports competition, and combined it with AJXCACC comics convention. It  pushed the development of Hainan e-sports and built the brand as a local quality competition. 

Kunlun e-sports now has 8 e-sports teams. 3 league of legends teams, 2 honor of kings teams, 2 game for peace teams, and 1 CSGO team. The number of players (including subs) have reached 44.Kunlun e-sports team aims to build quality student e-sports team, and focus on nurturing upcoming e-sports talents. Kunlun e-sports has acclaimed remarkable achievement over the past years in china, and even globe wide. In July 2017, Kunlun league of legends e-sports team won champion in international college cup with undefeated record. In December 2019, Kunlun DOTA2 e-sports team won champion in Perfect world college league (fall).

To cope with e-sports education, Kunlun invested in a nationwide top-tier e-sports center - Kunlun e-sports center. The center is over 3000 square meters, and is equipped with 236 computers. Professional e-sports competition stage, 100M fiber access, 4V4 / 5V5 / 6V6 training room, PS4 pro section, mobile game section, broadcast room, and party room can provide a comfortable experience to all. The venue is also open to cater any kinds of e-sports competition, business promotion, conference and so on.
